So our cream colored plastic isn't for everyone. Although very functional, pretty unexciting we agree. But not a problem, because with a little bit of work you can make your holder any color you want! So let's add some color, the step-by-step DIY way.
1) Gather the materials. An inexpensive can of any color spray paint works. Well need some fine grit sand paper to rough up the surface so the paint sticks better. Finally we'll need a piece of carboard to spray against, and some soap and paper towels for cleanup.
2) Lightly sand all surfaces untill the appearance is totally dull and has no light reflection. Then sand a little more to be 100% sure you got everything.
3) Wash it well with soap, then rise and dry. Make sure to dry it well, and just to make sure sit it aside to air dry for a few minutes.
4) Hit it with a few light coats of spray, then allow to dry for a couple minutes. Repeat as necessary to build up a good gloss layer. Don't go too heavy or you'll get paint run marks. Once the paint is dry to the touch, flip it and repeat the process to get the other side.
5) Allow to dry overnight, then apply clips and labels. Congrats, you have added some style to your ride!
